Switching on the ceiling light at night wakes you up for good. This light plugs into an outlet in the hallway and turns on when two things happen at once: it's dark, and someone is moving. After 20 to 30 seconds it switches off again. During the day it stays off even when you walk past — the light sensor sees to that.
