Product Description

Heat builds up under a solid tarp. It keeps the sun off, but underneath it gets muggy because the warm air has nowhere to go. This net is woven rather than solid: it takes out most of the direct sunlight and lets air pass through at the same time. That keeps it noticeably cooler underneath.

About the HDPE Shade Cloth

  • Breathable weave — No trapped heat, because warm air can rise and escape.
  • Reinforced edges — The border does not fray, even when the net is under tension.
  • Metal grommets all around — For fastening with rope, hooks or zip ties.
  • HDPE instead of fabric — Does not absorb water and will not mildew if stored damp.
